New Year's Eve at this hotel was not a complete disaster. Two complimentary drinks offered at check-in started the adventure. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, a prime spot for shopping and dining, which made getting around town easy. The central courtyard was charming and delightful, a nice escape from the noise.
The hotel was rundown and the room had a damp smell that was difficult to ignore. The bed was small, the pillows were lumpy, and without a fan or AC the traffic on the busy street outside was loud and constant.
